As you can see by the navigation bar at left, this was a "bucket list" trip that included both the Galapagos and Machu Picchu. We arranged the trip through an ecotour company called Ecoventura (www.ecoventura.com), who claim to be carbon-neutral, etc., etc., etc. We recommend them highly!
Our itinerary was:

April 2-4: Quito (Ecuador), including the enormous Otavalo craft market and, of course, a visit to the Equator |

April 5-12: The Galapagos, aboard the good ship M/Y Flamingo I |

April 13-14: Lima and Cuzco (Peru), en route to Machu Picchu |

April 15-16: Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley (including the Pisaq ruins) |

April 17: Lima |
